Guqin is a traditional Chinese musical instrument with a history of more than 3,000 years."There are more than 3,360 pieces of music, 130 scores and 300 songs in the world. On November 7, 2003, the UNESCO world heritage committee announced that the Chinese guqin had been selected as a world cultural heritage. In 2006, it was listed in China's intangible cultural heritage list. On November 7, 2003, Kunqu Opera, as the ancestor of traditional Chinese opera, was listed as a world intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. In 1977, the United States launched a satellite into space capable of crashing into the solar system and the Milky Way galaxy. The scientists put some cultural information about the earth on the satellite. Among them, more excellent music records represent a country, which represents the Chinese guqin "flowing water". The earliest records of guqin come from the songs in this book. Besides large gatherings as sacrifices and ceremonies, the guqin was also popular. My fair lady, guqin's friend, reflects that as early as the Zhou dynasty, people had a wide understanding of the guqin.
WHO ARE WE？
We are a guqin brand is a collection of Guqin sales, teaching, production experience and popular science Guqin studio. Adhering to the concept of"excellent materials, inheriting intangible cultural heritage".We are committed to promoting the development of guqin industry in Guizhou province.
This is from the Chinese character qin. Qin is also another name for guqin. The red part symbolizes the strings. Nowadays nylon strings are mostly used because the steel strings are more painful when they bounce. The copper wire inside the strings will oxidize and change colour after being used for a long time, whilethe strings of good quality will turn red, and the strings of bad quality will turn green. Its discolouration will not affect the tone of the instrument but will make it look better. Since the structure of this drawing is symmetrical, the spacing of it is consistent when I design it.
We also use this pure text logo on the sculpture.
I designed 12 posters. They are two series, three for each series. The red ones are for winter. They are available in Chinese and English.
I also have a long vision of video, it is too big to update. If you interested in my video, please contact me in WeChat.
For busy urbanites, a good guqin can bring peace of mind to people after work and let people around the world feel the beauty of Chinese guqin culture. In order to help the traditional handmade guqin go to the high-end market, I designed the guqin brand "qian school". I hope more people can feel the beauty of guqin and the spiritual pursuit of traditional Chinese culture from this brand.
From the topic selection to the completion of my graduation project, I received serious guidance from Michael Kress, which gave me a lot of confidence and encouragement. Here I would like to express my most sincere thanks and respect to him, as well as to other teachers who have helped me.
