“杨明洁设计发现·感官之旅 2014”是工业设计师杨明洁结合感性的洞察和理性的分析,解读突破“五感”的设计精神。在延续“杨明洁设计发现之旅 2013”发现设计的过去、当下和未来为线索的基础上,从用户感官的角度展示杨明洁的设计哲学和逻辑美学。

 

杨明洁设计发现·感官之旅 2014”是工业设计师杨明洁结合感性的洞察和理性的分析,解读突破“五感”的设计精神。在延续“杨明洁设计发现之旅 2013”发现设计的过去、当下和未来为线索的基础上,从用户感官的角度展示杨明洁的设计哲学和逻辑美学。
一直以来, 杨明洁遵循“创造完美用户体验”的设计哲学,认为设计师解决的是人与物之间的关系,即用户与产品之间的关系。而人对于物的感知来自于视觉、听觉、触觉、嗅觉、味觉,一个优良的产品应该基于全方位的感知,与人建立一种友善、美好而便利的关系,用设计的方法提升生活品质。
此次受邀源自巴黎的新世代豪华汽车品牌 DS,杨明洁发现其激进大胆的差异化设计策略为中国人带来奢侈品的感官体验,展示其历年的设计精品收藏与获全球设计大奖的现代设计作品,辉映 DS 经典老爷车与全感官豪华三厢轿车 DS 5LS,并呈现其与 DS 合作的为中法建交五十周年献礼的特别版生活精品,让观众全感官、全方位地感受优良设计的魅力与价值。
JAMY YANG SENSORY DESIGN EXPLORATION 2014 combines perceptual insights and rational analysis to interpret breakthrough of design spirit for all five senses. Jamy YangMingjie as industrial designer illustrates his design philosophy and logical aesthetics from perspective of user’s senses, building on design thinking clue of JAMY YANG DESIGN EXPLORATION 2013 as “future depends on the past only through the present”.
Jamy holds the view that industrial designer should observe human-object interaction and provide solution to better relations between user and product, in consistence with his design philosophy “Creating perfect user experiences”. Human get feelings on an object by five senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste, therefore, a good product should be designed based on total perception. A good design can be the human-object bridge to develop friendly, nice and convenient relations with each other; also can be leveraged to improve life quality of human-being.
For this invitational exhibition, Jamy explores DS innovative and differentiated design strategy brings Chinese people full sensorial luxury experience on sedan. He showcases selected vintage industrial products collected over the world and international award-winning projects going along with DS heritage car and full sensorial premium Sedan DS 5LS. Meanwhile he presents boutique specially designed for 50th anniversary of French-Chinese diplomatic relations working with DS, to bring people all feelings on charm and value generated by good design, from senses of “SIGHT, HEARING, TOUCH, SMELL, TASTE”.
 
 
视觉 SIGHT:经典与创新设计 Classic & innovative design
杨明洁近十年来收藏了近千件来自世界各地的自工业革命之后的设计精品,体现着不同地区、不同时期、不同种族在特定环境下的生活、文化、工艺形态。从中精选了数件精美的老产品,结合 DS 经典的老爷车,让观众从历史中回味设计的演变过程。
 
Thousands of vintage design products from all over the world collected by Jamy Yang for 10 years to present culture and aesthetics in different areas, lifestyle for different ethnic groups and manufacturing processes in different eras. Jamy selected the most elegant pieces of the collections to display with DS heritage car, to showcase the design evolution.

T-BOX Multi-functional Home System designed by Jamy Yang won Red Dot and IDEA design awards. Based on modular and standard component, it is convenient to combine and dissemble by users. T-BOX provides the innovative household optimization solutions. In this way the system meets sustainable requirements in manufacture, transportation, selling, storage and usage. The design highly combines  aesthetic and practical value.
 
打字机设计考古 Classic Typewriter Design
 

一台产自巴黎的古老打字机:杨明洁收藏的众多打字机中最古老的一台,典雅的设计把记忆带回古老中世纪的巴黎,作为当时先进信息传播机器的打字机,记录传承着文化历史,是象征着那个时代的文化符号。
The typewriter Jamy collected in Paris is the oldest one in his typewriter collections. This elegant design seems to bring memory back to Paris in middle ages. Typewriter as the advanced machine for communication at that time recorded historic culture. It was the cultural symbol of that age.

刀叉筷:
杨明洁为中法建交五十周年所设计的一套创新餐具。将中式筷子与西式刀叉完美结合,大胆而个性化的创新设计,实现了刀叉与筷子的双重功能。
Knife-fork-chopsticks - Innovation dinnerware designed by Jamy Yang specially for 50th anniversary of France-China relations. It presents perfect integration of Chinese Chopsticks and Western knife and fork. The innovative and bold design can realize functions of both chopstick and knife and fork.
 

魔方果盘
以 DS 的底纹图形为基础设计的魔方果盘。由代表着中法建交五十周年的五十片金属片组成,通过不同组合可以演变为一个果盘、一个花插以及更多种可能的造型与功能。
Cube fruit bowl - It is made of fifty metal flakes representing 50th anniversary of France-China relations on the basis of DS pattern design. Multiple shapes and functions can be realized as fruit bowl, flower receptacle and more through different combinations.
 

 
“知竹常乐”系列茶具:
杨明洁为全球第一锡镴品牌设计的一套茶具,获得美国 IDEA 设计奖,曾在米兰、法兰克福、巴黎、伦敦等地巡展。由茶壶、茶叶罐、茶筅和茶食小碟组成,符合现代喝茶习惯。首次采用中国传统材料“竹”与锡器结合,将竹子的丰富含义和独特造型融入新一代茶具内,全新演绎中国茶具的功能和美学。取名“知竹常乐”,与中国成语“知足常乐”谐音,作品获得中国第一夫人彭丽媛的赞赏。
Serenity tea set – “Serenity” is designed for one of the best known pewter brands over the world. It has won IDEA design award and been displayed in Milan, Frankfurt, Paris, London design show. “Serenity” is innovated for modern tea-drinking habit, including a pair of tea cups, tea pot, tea brush, tea caddy and snack plate. Jamy skillfully integrates the style and texture of bamboo with the flexible character of pewter. The name “Serenity” suggests the state of being calm and peaceful. “Serenity” was appreciated by Chinese first lady Ms Peng Liyuan during her visit in Malaysia.
 

DS 元素丝巾扣:
杨明洁设计体现 DS 品牌 DNA,提取 DS 5LS 飞翼式前脸设计元素运用到环扣处,简洁却不失 DS 独有的法式情调,使女士佩戴时散发优雅的气息。
DS Scarf buckle – Jamy Yang designs it to show DS brand DNA. Design element is extracted from DS wing front face of 5LS and applied on the buckle. It keeps simple shape with typical french style of DS and makes woman look and feel elegant while wearing it.
 

DS 元素领带夹:
杨明洁设计从 DS Logo 中提取元素单元作为领带夹的形态元素,使男士佩戴时体现对生活情趣和细节的讲究。

Jamy Yang tries to leverage origami concept to design a set of sofa which presents high quality comfort and aesthetic. It fully reflects innovative material features like water-proof, ventilation, light, toughness and tear resistance. The hollow-out body makes the sofa lighter and unique folding shape design has formed special texture to create different visual experience and more durable function. The shape combines material feature and texture smoothly and ergonomic enough to bring users relaxing and comfortable feeling while sitting in it, realizing unprecedented user experiences.

源自巴黎的 DS 5LS 车内座椅选取欧洲进口的顶级 Nappa+Semi Aniline 小牛皮,采用特殊技术对整块牛皮进行压缝而成的“表链式”的造型,完美触感配合电子屏幕模拟驾舱中控体验。不同的材料肌理给人以不同的触觉质感,经过特殊设计后的真皮触感更能带给人奢侈品的联想。

人类接受信息最直接的方式之一是声音,从听觉识别品牌——戴上耳机,聆听巴黎风情的声音,融入情景的空间,或徜徉在浪漫之都时尚巴黎,或悠闲漫步在石阶小径;伴着杨明洁用“世界上最聪明的灯”打造的“律动的幻影”,灯光随着声音起伏,眼前掠过凯旋门、卢浮宫、埃菲尔铁塔,脑海浮现雨果、巴尔扎克、大仲马,感受设计创新带来的多感知体验。
Sound is the most direct way to receive information for human-being. Brand could be identified through hearing. Please put the earphone on and listen to Parisian music, so that you can interact with the scene either walking in romantic Paris or rambling on the stony path. Along with “Illusion with rhythm” installation designed by Jamy Yang, you can interact with the light wave of “the smartest lamp in the world” and music. Triumphal arch, The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, image of Hugo, Balzac and Dumas… It tells people can feel multi-perceptual experiences by innovative design.

嗅觉 SMELL:法式优雅气味 Elegant fragrance from France
刺激人的嗅觉能打动感性诉求,贮存感性记忆。DS 特制喷射式香氛,提炼优雅的木香调缭绕使访客进入展厅便会被精致的法式生活芬芳包裹。进入 DS 每一款车厢,内饰散发出的浓郁真皮味,使人们不仅从外观感受审美的愉悦,更得到更多源的奢侈感体验。展览期间特别提取多达 12 种花香、果香等令人愉悦的香味,分装在不同的瓶子中,访客可以训练自己的嗅觉,并根据瓶子上的编号与工作人员互动了解对应的香味名字。
Smell can stimulate people’s emotional appeals and store perceptual memories. DS fragrance spray is tailor made by extracting and purifying costus oil to make visitors being surrounded with exquisite French-style smell as soon as entering DS showroom. People can also smell rich genuine leather of interior decoration as soon as getting into DS sedan, to not only feel joy of appearance design aesthetics but also multi-perceptual luxury experiences. During exhibition, 54 scent extracting from flower or fruit collected in different bottles provides chance for visitors to test your smell; then you can get right answer according to number on bottle from staff.
 
 
设计解读 DS 老爷车

70 年代的车身设计以棱角分明、方方正正为主,DS23 以圆润流线的前脸、前高后低的车顶弧线与后挡风玻璃和行李箱融为一体的设计打破常规。后轮采用半包覆式设计,在提升侧身整体性的同时,也稍微优化了整车风阻。在材料上,DS23 运用了前卫的结构性材料,包括铝质发动机罩以及塑料车顶。
In 1970s most of car body design is mainly square with clear-cut, but DS23 has broken the routine with smooth design of front face, high-to-low roof line and integration of rear window and trunk. The semi-covered rear wheel could increase the integrity of sideway body and slightly decrease whole wind drag. DS23 applied avant-garde structural materials such as aluminum for engine cowling and plastic for car roof.

外观造型平衡了中国人喜欢的饱满度和流畅度,也不失切割的细节。DS 的 Logo 奠定了整部车的线条设计语言。它的 Logo 和轮毂相对颇受女性的喜爱,我们把这种风格和趋势成为“动态的锐角”,其特征是打破二维平面,在面与面的衔接处精雕细琢,进行局部锋利的切割或转折,较为典型的是建筑大师 Frank Gehry 和 Zara Hadid 设计的建筑和首饰。
前脸是体现品牌识别性的重中之重,DS Wing 把格栅与灯贯穿到一起,为前脸的设计带来了新意。内饰的 CMF(色彩、材料与表面处理)设计得恰到好处,把常见的黑色皮纹改成了咖啡色、细腻的磨砂质感,减少了通常会显得很廉价的塑料感,犹如做工精良的皮箱包。
The appearance and modeling of DS 5LS balance the richness and fluency well which are two favored elements for Chinese with consideration of details of cutting. DS logo settles foundation of line design language of the whole car. The Logo and wheel hub design win female preference, which is called “dynamic acute angle” style and trend. It breaks through two dimensions plane with careful revision at the joint of surface to surface, being sharply incised and turned partially. The representative of the style and trend can be referred to architecture and jewelry designed by Frank Gehry and Zara Hadid.
The front face is most important for brand identity in car design. DS Wing has an innovative design of connecting grille and light for front face. Meanwhile, CMF (color, material and finishing) for interior decoration is designed to the point that it has changed normal black pattern to brown and subtle frosted texture to lessen cheap-feel from plastic texture, making it feel like leather case with fine craftsmanship.

杨明洁,著名工业设计师,YANG DESIGN 及 YDC 创始人,在浙大与中国美院完成七年学业后,获德国 WK 基金会全额奖学金赴德留学,获工业设计硕士后,任职于慕尼黑西门子设计总部。囊获了包括德国红点奖、iF、日本 G -mark、美国 IDEA、亚洲最具影响力设计银奖在内的六十多项设计大奖。其作品展出于全球各大设计展与博物馆。
2005 年创办 YANG DESIGN 与 YDC,迄今已分别发展成为在产品创新与城市创新领域的领先策略与设计顾问机构。2013 年杨明洁创办的中国首家私人工业设计博物馆在上海落成,其收藏的近千件工业老产品与当代优良产品展示了工业设计的历史、现代与未来。
二十多年在设计界的坚持与卓越表现,也使他成为了包括波音、绿色和平、壹基金等众多国际顶尖的品牌与文化公益组织的合作伙伴。从眼镜箱包到飞机内舱,从家电家具到公共设施的多个产品领域均有精彩作品呈现。如为意大利知名品牌所设计的 T -BOX 家居系统在米兰展主场馆发布,“知竹常乐”茶具系列获得了中国第一夫人的赞赏。“创造完美用户体验”是其坚持的设计哲学。

Jamy Yang is one of the few Shanghai-based industrial designers who has achieved international recognition. He received master degree of industrial design from Germany with full scholarship of WK Foundation, after 7-year study in Zhejiang University and China Academy of Art. He worked in Siemens design headquarter in Munich afterwards. He has won more than 60 local and international design awards including 5 Red Dot, iF, G-mark, IDEA and DFA Silver. His product designs are being included in renowned design exhibitions and museums worldwide.
Jamy founded YANG DESIGN and YDC in 2005. He dedicates to developing them become leading professional strategy and innovative consultancy in product and urban design in China. In 2013, Jamy’s industrial design museum was completed as the first Chinese private one in this category, where thousands of his vintage industrial product collections and innovative designs exhibit to reveal the clue of past, modern and future industrial design history.
His over twenty-year persistent and outstanding performance in design industry makes him become good partner with international renowned brands like Boeing and cultural and nonprofits organizations like Greenpeace, One Foundation etc. He has good pieces come out as diverse as sunglasses, suitcase, airplane cabin, home appliance, furniture and public facility, to present his design philosophy of “Creating perfect user experiences”. His “T-BOX” multi-functional home system design for one Italian famous brand has been launched at main pavilion 2011 Salone Milano; “Serenity” tea set design is appreciated in public including Chinese first lady Ms PengLi yuan.
